Hello people who read this blog!
I just wanted to say a few things about this blog. I love it a lot and put a lot of work into it, that being said I can't update it all the time because of RL or every time stories get updated (especially with some being updated a few times a day). So I would make sure if you are someone who judges whether to start reading stories on if they've been updated recently (to avoid getting into stories that get abandoned) then ALWAYS check the link and see if my last updated is the right. Sometimes a month or two goes by before I can really get back to look through all the rec's on each post to see if they've been updated.
Also that goes for some stories being removed/pulled/ect. PLEASE let me know if a link doesn't work by leaving a comment - it would be much appreciated :)

I was looking for some of the stories and was hoping to make a list here of at least the stories i'm reading/rec'ing and where they are going. Lions, Tigers and Vampires...oh my!
When I started this blog I really avoided any
stories with vampires in them that weren't like the ones in the Missing Moments
blog, I just didn't like other people's interpretations and whatnot. But
recently I've found some and well, I’m pleasantly surprised.

Why Read? I liked this story because it was an interesting plot and
really great character development going on. Edward starts off as a much darker
vampire then we are used too and even Bella's pretty great, especially in her
situation. RachyDoodle really knows how to write a story, you won't be
disappointed.

Why Read? I stumbled upon this charming story just now and i'm so glad
that i gave it a chance. The vampire's are really different in this story (all
explained in the first A/N) so the world and how everything in it is a lot
different. Edward's alone until he finds his mate, Bella and this story is all
about their life together and how he has to protect her (she's young and a bit
naive) as they are in captivity and in the real world if they can ever get out.
The main reason it's in this blog is because there really wasn't anywhere else
to put it. The subject matter isn't questionable, I doubt anyone would have any
issue's its just its a vampire story and not twilight vampire's since she's
made her own.

way it was written. There's a lot going on and you never really know what all
of it is. EZRocksAngel is a great author and i think there might even be a
sequel of sorts for this story coming out sometime soon (yipeeee)

Why Read? Mhm it's another kidnap story really, but it seems that a
lot of vampire stories are, not saying that this is in anyway the same as
other's i've recommended because its not. Right in the second chapter she
throws in her own spin on how this story is going to go, and from there out its
all great plot and writing.

world trying to adjust to a new species. She is sick of other people and just
wants to get out of her backwater town. She didn't want to become a vampire
soul-mate, but life's a bitch. OOC
Why Read? Well honestly after i read the summary i just started to
laugh out loud, it was amazing. Interesting AU story, where Humans and Vampires
are co-existing together, though that doesn't mean they are happy about it. In
this story these vampires pretty much imprint on human girls and then give them
immortality so they can live forever together, and not everyone loves this
idea. There are two at Bella's high school (alice/rose) and they 'lovingly'
refer to them as the "corpse brides". And just Bella's luck, Edward's
got his eye on her, but he's a fool to think she's coming to come willingly.
Interesting story, love that Bella really hates Edward as of now (july) and
isn't blinded by his good looks and whatnot, he's a vampire and she's not
interested, but does she have a choice? haha

spirit animal is - it's perfectly normal in this world. Edward and Bella meet,
and are thrown into an odd sort of romance.
Why Read? I've had this on my "to read" list for a while, I
added it because the summary was so interesting. XlaraC sets up her 'world'
wonderfully, and you get completely sucked in right away. I love the way the
POV is constantly changing so you get the feel of what's going on from
different perspectives. She also has a way of leaving these foreshadowing one
sentence narrations here and there, the only thing is, are they hinting at bad
things in the future, just a worry, a major flaw that's going to come back and
bite you in the butt or none of the above. On top of all this, its beyond cute,
i love lion edward and lamb bella :)

Why Read? This story was interesting because it starts off in a time
of Lords and whatnot, but as you can tell by the blog it's in there's so much
more to the story. Bella is living contently waiting until she is to be married
to long time family friend Jacob, until one day the Lords of the land (the
Cullens) come back and everything's shaken up. Starting when Edward comes to
the Swans house and announces that he is to marry Isabella and she's coming to
live with his family that day.

find out any more! Its full of mystery, suspense, all the Cullen's, romance and
singing :) currently finished Act 2 (8/9/10) and well it always blows my mind.

about her or their family and her new "sister" Jessica hates her

Why Read? I found this rec'd at the end of a story i was reading and
just happened to be looking for something new to read. I'm so glad i stubled
upon this story - its new only 3 chapters in so far but its really going
places. Bella works at a carnival with Renee and Phil (along with Alice, Esme
and Emmett) and has a connection with the scents and energy of the air. I
couldn't explain it and do it justice but it is really interesting. The story
seems to focus on fÃorghrá, or true love, and with Alice's cousin Edward Mason
coming to spend the summer with them, there might just be love in the air :)

Why Read? I found this story through another blog, the Reccing Ball,
and the summary really sounded interesting. This story starts off when Bella
has has a bad run in with some unsavory characters, Vampires to be exact.
That's where things get tricky, because Edward comes along and well lets say in
their business they don't take well to vampires, seeing as they kill them on a
regular basis. But what's a guy to do when the love of his life turns up as a
vampire? Well that's where this story starts off, join Vampbella and Slayerward
as they try to find a way to figure everything out and keep afloat as
everything they thought they new about their lives, jobs, and vampires seems to
change. (i think personally i really love the reverse rolls, as bella a vampire
and edward the fragile human, pretty great actually)

wouldn’t have been the case and if I had been bella I would have done
something, and that’s exactly what glasscannon_lj’s bella did. So more
proactive bella and not one that just lets things happen to her.

Why Read? Now this is actually one of my very favorite vampire stories
out there. It’s definitely OOC in certain ways, mostly that her vampires are
not stephanie’s. Male vampires are dominant in society but love their women
more than anything else, so I never thought of it as a bad thing (though a few
super feminist might not be able to read it, I have a few friends who can’t
read stories with actual male dominated societies cause its pisses them off and
I get that). There is some “bloodplay” but its just during the marking that she
has her vampires do, its how they distinguish mates from other vampires and
things of that nature. I really say go read it and give it a chance, hopefully
you’ll learn to love it just as much as I do.

much about it other than you really want to be reading this story when it
starts getting more chapters up, you won’t regret it. Its going to be amazing,
which isn’t something you can always tell from the get go with fanfiction.

or something like that but of course with SydneyAlice’s writing style and
personal spins of the story it truly is unique and one you will want to start
reading.

Why Read? I have to say that this
is a very interesting story and I’ve enjoyed it thus far. Saying that I will
admit that I really just skimmed the first couple of chapters since it does
deal with a lot of intense subject matter (rape, kidnap, death) but there’s a
disclaimer and it is a horror genre for a reason.
