Why Read? A Cullen Wannabe stays true to form in this fic. After doing a one-shot of the first chapter, she continued to flesh out the story in the following chapters. To me, period fanfics are sometimes hard to follow, what with it being from a different time, and the authors needing to research the time period in addition to forming a plot that is plausible and fits in with the timeline provided. Not only does A Cullen Wannabe demonstrate a particular finesse for placing the reader within the time period, she also makes the reader believe in these characters. We see the Edward that Stephenie Meyer hinted at in Eclipse, when Edward says, "I was that boy, who would have-- as soon as I discovered that you were what I was looking for--gotten down on one knee and endeavored to secure your hand."(277) In short, I feel that this fic is refreshing and stays true to the characters of the saga. It is a perfect example of a period piece, and I hope to see more outstanding work from A Cullen Wannabe. --MC

Why Read? Simply, its a sweet and charming story about love and duty and how crappy they can be when your royalty. It's got the drama and angst that is needed to complete the plot and make it feel realistic, but not too much so that it's hard to read. With everything a good fanfic needs, muggleinlove writes a beautiful story of love.

Why Read? I actually just finished reading this a few moments ago, I'm always interested in royalty stories and being a huge fan of A Cullen Wannabe i knew it wouldn't disappoint. The writing style is more of a 3rd person type of thing, which gives the story an interesting view point and feel to it. Not the normal trade off of first person, it still gives you that personal feel for the characters while being able to show the larger picture at the same time. A lovely story so far, with an exciting plot line unveiling at the moment, one which i'm dyeing to read more of.

This fanfic is also going to appear on my 'questionables' which is just the blog of fic's that are a little out there for me or have more touchy subject matter. This one simply is there because of the large age difference between edward and bella, personally i love Emma and Jane Eyre so things like that don't bother me when in a not 2010 setting, but im putting it there. But since it's written in a different time period im mentioning it here. All the normal info will be on the other blog

Why Read? This was a interesting story, the plot line and idea completely different then anything i've come across. It was just really nice, i was having a "dry spell" of finding stories i really cared about but it was great reading this because i was excited and cared about the plot and the people.

Why Read? I think i just really love stories set in old england, the whole courts, kings, ladies and knights thing is just a happy place. This story is different then other's because it's not seedy or angsty, it sets up everything perfect and get to the "meat" of the plot well. It's not complete but I can't wait to find out what happens next, i feel like there's a lot of good drama to come.

Why Read? Well its Twilight and A Princess Bride...why in the would you not want to? Honestly once I read that there was no way I wasn't going to read the story. And it's a major plus that the story has so many creative differences from both plots that it is it's own story. Well written and interesting chapters makes this one of my favorites stories to read whenever I get an update. It also has a special place since I found it when it was on chapter 1, and i've never read a story from the very beginning so its special. Still not sure if i love that because i can see everything or if its annoying cause i just want to find out what happens next!

Why Read? This is a really beautiful story about an arranged marriage. Bella, just two days after her 16th birthday is shipped off to the cullens where she's to be married to Edward (19 at the time) and the first time they meet, while they are are saying "I do" (though they handle it better then i would haha) But this is no smooth love story, as drama, misunderstandings, miscommunications, spiteful people all come into play making this growing up experience even harder. And, they have to do all this while being married.

The Black Dragon is a medieval story, if you like that but it's found in my Seemingly Questionable blog, so check that out!

Why Read? I love this story because its a western, which i don't normally read a lot of. But damsell really sets up a great story and base for a story. It starts out a bit non-cannon (but its not physical at all, only people with physical relationship are cannon, that's what helped me through reading those parts - gah non cannon couples are weird, or i think so) Anyway its a longer story, but she updates like a crazy person, sometimes two chapters a day! Love the sweet build up of the romance, between all the characters and then there's a good dose of mystery and action, so a great story all around.

This is a great story, feels realistic (as fanfic can be) and has an amazing plot line and the writing/the characters are so well written I found myself laughing and crying through the whole story.
